Kazumi Sakoda is a Barcelona-based Japanese artist that defies definitions. In some sense, she’s a musician that crosses noise and ambient music, but in another, she’s a collector of sounds, recording and archiving the voice of a city that might go unnoticed by most. But at the end of the day, Kazumi says it’s a personal thing. She’s making a sound diary for herself to capture a moment to help her remember.
